What is the difference between managed and self-managed website plans?
With a managed plan we will make any content and image updates each month for any content that you supply. With self-managed you will update text and images yourself using the content management editor tools
How much training is required?
It takes around 1-2 hours to explain website content management basics and about the same time again to configure and manage your member portal. Both sessions can be covered within a morning or afternoon session and we can provide a screen recording of the sessions for you to refer to. Should you need extra help along the way our support team will be happy to assist you.
Can I change the design?
The website templates that we have designed can be easily modified in terms of colours, images, text content and fonts. If you require custom changes to the functionality or page layouts, then our design team can assist you on a paid consultancy basis.
What do I need to provide?
In order to have your website up and running as quickly as possible, we advise customers to gather all their content and make this available in a single Microsoft Word file, with different page content clearly marked. Images are best provided in .jpg or .png format. Any downloadable files. such as PDFs and large images should be less than 10mb in size. Please note that we provide an optional service to add content for you, or we provide the template complete with placeholder content for you to update later.
What if I want to move to another provider?
Should you ever decide to move to another provider or technology, then we can provide an exported file of your content. As per the terms of our licence, you are not allowed to recreate our designs on another platform as this would infringe our copyright. Data in the CRM would be exported in .csv format and provided to you on request. Once your service is cancelled, your website is immediately unpublished and all data will be deleted within 7 days of termination.
Can I export my data?
Data stored in your member portal can be exported from the account settings area by an authorised admin. The data is exported into .csv format. For website data, only the text content and any images you own can be exported and provided to you on request.
Willl you increase the price?
We are obliged to review our charges from time to time to take account of currency fluctuations, inflation, general trading conditions and to ensure we can provide the level of service and support you expect, whilst at the same time remaining profitable. In the event that we intend to raise subscription prices, we will provide at least 30 days' notice.
Where is my website hosted?
Our websites and portal are securely hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS), which is a market-leader in scaleable cloud-based hosting. This type of hosting service provides high availability, security and speed.
Is my data safe?
Your website data and membership CRM data is securely stored in the Amazon (AWS) cloud. Please however, note that your data is only as secure as the passwords you set and share on your account and we cannot be liable for security breaches that occur through mis-management of passwords.
How much does it cost?
Memb@CRM costs from just £175 per month for up to 250 members. That's less than £1 per member, per month. The cost for 10,000 members is £475 per month or less than 5p per member!
How long will it take to get my new site live?
Of course, every client's requirements are different, but we usually can have you up and running in 2-4 weeks. The availability of data and content are the key determinants of schedule.
Can I import my current data?
Yes, we can help you to import your existing data using our downloadable template. Just make sure the column headers match your existing data field names. Our support team can help you or you can watch this useful demo video using the link below.
